Last week we had the great opportunity, in collaboration with Bocconi Students for Commercial and Investment Banking, to host an event at Università Bocconi named: “Navigating the Banking Industry: Uncertainties & Opportunities”.

It was amazing to get perspectives from industry leaders about what has happened in the banking sector in the last two months. We had the opportunity to discuss the failure of major financial institutions, huge M&A transactions, industry trends, and how banking activities will evolve to adapt to wildly different macro conditions.

We wanted to thank our guest speakers, Matteo di Nunzio, Managing Director & Co-Head of Financial Institutions Coverage Italy at BNP Paribas CIB, Marco Spano, Managing Director & Co-Head of DCM and Financing Group at Mediobanca, and Matteo Fungo, Director of Debt Capital Markets Group - FIG at Mediobanca, for all the insights they provided, and finally Brunella Bruno, professor of Financial Institutions, for having moderated the event.
